Yesterday at work for about 15 minutes, all my co-workers kept on talking about a duckling that was in the store on a leash. I didn't want to believe them, but the world is crazy, so I did. Long behold, I see this guy looking at the floor. And I see the duckling sitting there, waiting patiently online for his turn to purchase something. I was trying my hardest to hurry my customer up, so I could see the duckling. But of course with my luck, he goes to another register. The owner puts the duckling on the counter and the little guy just sits there. SOOOOOO CUTE!!! The guy pays for his stuff and he puts the duckling on the floor. He sits there for a little bit, but then the guy squeaks his squeaky toy and the duckling got up and waddled his way over to the owner. This makes me want a pet duckling. I wish I took a picture of the cute guy.

Today Onn and I buried a bird. We found it on the trunk of the car on Friday at my job. I'm hoping that the egg fell out of the nest and not someone putting it there as a joke. Seeing that broke my heart a little. Even writing about it kind of hurts. We thought the proper thing to do would be to bury it. It's resting place is on the side of the house.

so as i was sitting at graduation on tuesday, i felt my skin start to burn. didn't realize HOW bad i was burnt til i got home. i was and still am redder than a lobster from the Red Lobster commercials. i got aloe, and i've been putting that on. i've been putting on cold compresses. and now i've discovered that my burn is now blistering.
